English in Action

In the last week before the end of term, we hosted a three-day full- immersion workshop with the renowned Cambridge based language school English in Action. On the first morning our red-haired, native speaker Ned Piggott welcomed the class with some funny icebreakers. Over the three days he managed to engage the students in a number of entertaining and interesting activities, helping them to break down language barriers, build confidence and improve fluency. The highlight of the workshop was acting out some theatrical sketches, which the students wrote themselves and performed in front of their peers. (Mag. Amelio)
